Currently the best full Mexican restaurant in Kinston. Great staff and terrific food. Parking can get tight when its busy, but a full parking lot is a good sign since the locals will know where to find good food. If you like spicy food, make sure you ask for the house-made hot sauce that you can add to you food or salsa for the extra kick.

Ended up going here for their 12th anniversary. All the food at El Azteca is amazing. The service was extremely fast, if we knew what we wanted, the order could have been placed as soon as we sat down. There is plenty of space inside as we were able to park our stroller at the table; getting the stroller through the doors was difficult because there are two sets of doors while passing through a 4x4 space. After ordering, the appetizers came out, hot and fresh, almost immediately. The rest of the food came minutes later. Everything tasted amazing and their portion sizes were large. All the food was very affordable. If you have a hungry family to feed, I absolutely recommend El Azteca!
